The Office of Nagar Panchayat Sunni Distt Shimla H.P on August 26, 2026, issued the Nagar Panchayat Sunni (Registration and Control of Pet Dogs) Bye-laws, 2025.
The Nagar Panchayat Sunni has notified the Nagar Panchayat Sunni (Registration and Control of Pet Dogs) Bye-laws, 2025 under the Himachal Pradesh Municipal Act, 1994. The draft bye-laws were published for public objections through notices, the Official Gazette and newspapers; no objections were received within the prescribed 15-day period.
The bye-laws are intended to regulate the registration and control of pet dogs within the jurisdiction of Nagar Panchayat Sunni. They will come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette of Himachal Pradesh.
